Spiritual Emphasis Week

The peaker started one of his lessons this week by explaining the busy aspect of the American life. He reminded us that according to society we as Americans think the busier a person is, the more productive they are, making them more valuable to society. As a Christian, I must make time for Christ despite my everyday "busy" life. I was reminded that being busy isn't always the best thing, and it most definately does not make me any more of a person. Many people, especially young athletes, tend to define themselves by the activities they are involved in or the accomplishments they have made. I have learned that I need to focus more on making quality time for my relationship with God to flourish, rather than focusing too much on my busy life.

Nomatter how busy or productive I am, I still must make time for Him and keep my focus on living for Christ.

keep focus on Christ
